Jack recognizes that the decision to seek therapy is rarely easy. For many, it comes after years of quietly carrying burdens, struggling with trauma, anxiety and depression, addiction, emotional turmoil, relationship, career, and financial difficulties, or a persistent sense that your life is not fully aligned with who you are called to be. Jack works to meet you in that place with compassion and clarity, helping you create a more fulfilling life and experience lasting change.

Educational History:
Jack graduated from Kenyon College in 1998 with a Bachelor of Arts Honors English Major, Classics Minor, and Humanities Concentration. He received his Master’s in Education in Human Development Counseling with a Clinical Focus from Vanderbilt University in 2020. He completed a certificate in Catholic Anthropology / Catholic Counseling from the University of Mary in May of 2026. Furthermore, Jack continues his education in Catholic counseling through the Thomistic Institute of Psychology and plans to pursue his Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision beginning in the fall of 2026.

Licensure:
Jack is fully licensed in the following states: Ohio, Kentucky, and Tennessee.

Certifications and Experience:
Jack has received advanced training and/or certifications in the following areas: suicidality, self-harm, trauma, grief and loss, sexual health, substance misuse, behavioral addictions, disordered eating, depression, anxiety, OCD/OCPD/Scrupulosity, personality disorders, mood disorders, adolescent, marriage, family, parenting, and couple’s therapies. Furthermore, Jack has completed advanced trainings or certifications in the following therapeutic modalities: Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Solutions Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Psychodynamic, Existential, and Logotherapy, Catholic and Thomistic Psychological therapies.
